La guingette à Montmartre

Van Gogh lived in Paris, on more than one occasion, and although it helped him to know the avant-garde in art, he was never one of his favorite places, because it was too noisy and expensive to live, so the Montmartre hill on the outskirts of the city, it was more economical and at the same time more bohemian because many artists would prefer to live there for similar reasons.

Van Gogh lived with his brother Theo in the Rue Lepic number 52 for about 2 years. He met a lot of painters of that time who would change his way of seeing the painting and he let some paintings showing how Montmartre was at that time.
